Who looks after your information?

Neadra is operated by Samuel Adebayo. For privacy questions or to exercise your rights, email [email protected]. This notice covers this website and its waiting list, rather than the separate Neadra app.

The waiting list

If you sign up, we use your email address to send a confirmation link and, once confirmed, updates about Neadra’s launch. We record when you requested and confirmed signup, the consent wording version, delivery status and protected representations of your confirmation and unsubscribe tokens. Our basis for sending launch updates is your consent.

We also use a temporary keyed representation of your IP address and request timestamps to limit automated abuse. We do not store your raw IP address in the waiting-list database. This security processing serves our legitimate interest in protecting the service and preventing unwanted email.

How long we keep it

Unconfirmed entries expire after seven days and are removed by an hourly cleanup. Confirmed entries stay on the waiting list until you unsubscribe or the list is no longer needed. If Neadra has not launched after twelve months, we will review whether retention remains appropriate and delete entries that are no longer needed or seek renewed consent. Abuse-prevention records are removed after one day by the same hourly cleanup.

Unsubscribe through your email link or contact us. We remove the active waiting-list entry; copies in provider backups and delivery logs may remain for their limited retention periods. Unsubscribing does not affect any separate Neadra app account.

Services that help us run Neadra

Cloudflare hosts the website and handles web traffic. Supabase stores waiting-list entries and runs the signup service. Resend delivers confirmation and launch emails. IONOS forwards messages sent to our contact address to an inbox hosted by Google. These providers process the information needed to provide their services and may process it outside the UK, subject to their applicable data-protection arrangements. Their published safeguards include standard contractual clauses and UK transfer addenda where applicable; see the Supabase, Resend and Cloudflare data-processing information. Contact us to request further information about the safeguards relevant to your data.

Hosting and email providers may retain operational logs, including IP addresses, delivery details and request metadata, for security and reliability. We do not sell your email address or use it for advertising.

Cookies and tracking

We do not add advertising cookies, behavioural analytics, email-open tracking or click tracking. The website uses local fonts and artwork. Hosting providers may use necessary security mechanisms to protect the service.

Your choices and rights

You can withdraw consent at any time. You can also ask to access, correct or erase your personal information, restrict or object to certain processing, or receive a portable copy where applicable. Contact [email protected]; we may need to verify the request belongs to you. You can raise a concern with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.

The waiting list is intended for adults arranging a shared household. Please do not submit children’s personal details.
